Yes, it's the end of the House That Backstreet Built. Good riddance (time of your life?). It's going to take a long time to fumigate that space of the AXE fragrance smells.
Sunday's VMAs, nothing but a shell of its former self, a mere trademarked lame and logo like MTV, will also likely be the last (my prediction). It's hosted by Russell Brand, a decent host, but I don't see it coming back next year.
A good barometer is over at the event's official page on Facebook. There's more 'Not Attending' folks than attending: "This show sums up why the world sucks".
